Our Process

We value transparency in all of our processes, so here’s what to expect when you hire Imperial for brick painting.

Pressure wash brick or cinder block

The first step is to pressure wash your brick or cinder block. Once the surface has air dried (2-day minimum), we will razor scrape any previous paint that is peeling, remove loose caulk, and re-caulk as needed. Gaps in mortar are tuck pointed and filled in.

Priming

Brick and/or cinder block will be primed with one coat of premium masonry primer prior to painting.

Painting

Primed brick and/or cinder block will be painted with 2 coats of premium 100% acrylic paint in color(s) of choice.

Clean Up

Our team conducts daily trash removal, always leaves the workspace clean and tidy, and performs a final comprehensive cleanup when the job is done.

Quality Assurance

High Quality Rollers
We use high-quality "lint-free" rollers & strain all paints to ensure a beautiful look.
Professional Painters
Imperial Painting will make sure that the job is completed with the professionalism that you expect.

Finest Quality Paint
We use the finest quality paints and never "water down" our paint.
Preparation
We thoroughly prep all surfaces by power washing, razor scraping, sanding, priming, and caulking as needed.

Preparation

We’ll handle the bulk of the prep work, but it’s a good idea to do the following before we arrive:

Select your color choice(s).
Move grills, lawn furniture, garbage cans, etc. away from the exterior walls

Trim back shrubs and/or branches for ladder access on all four sides of home.
